This is my own Nut-Grain-Seed healthy bread recipe, 2 lb loaf.
This recipe is designed for a bread making machine.
Ingredients:
- 1 ¼ cup warm water (110-115 degrees F)
- 1 ¾ tsp salt
- 2 tbsp honey
- 2 tbsp butter, melted
- ¼ cup walnuts, chopped
- ¼ cup sunflower seeds
- ¼ cup almond, sliced
- 2 tbsp wheat germ
- 2 tbsp wheat bran
- 2 tbsp sesame seeds
- 1 tbsp flax seeds
- ½ cup oats
- 1 tbsp poppy seeds
- ¼ cup potato flakes
- 2 tbsp dry milk
- 2 ½ cup + 1 tbsp flour
- 2 tsp instant yeast
On your bread maker, set the Basic menu, 2 lb, medium crust.

Looks delicious – been looking for some interesting recipes for the bread machine!
I liberally modified this recipe because I didn’t have all the ingredients at hand.
1 cup water
1/2 tbsp salt
1/3 cup shredded potato with liquid
2tbsp good quality extra virgin first cold pressed olive oil
2tbsp honey (same as above)
1/4 c chopped pecans
1/4 c mixed seeds (sunflower,pumpkin)
1/4 c chopped almonds
2 tbsp wheat bran (same as above)
2 tbsp bulger wheat
2 tbsp sesame seeds (same as above)
1 tbsp flax seeds (same as above)
1/2 c oats (same as above)
1 tbsp poppy seeds ( same as above)
1 c whole wheat flour
1 c unbleached regular flour
1/4 c buckwheat
2 tsp yeast
I baked it in my breadmaker using the whole wheat setting. The bread was magnificent. Thanks for the original recipe!!!
